Pleyel piano of 1877
Our client recovered this 1877 Pleyel 1/2 grand piano from the bottom of a dumpster.
He thought it was beautiful, so he took it home and hoped that the piano was still playable.
Good surprise! After our expertise, the piano is complete but full of moisture and oxidized on all the strings. For a reasonable cost, it can be played again.
After a period of 3 months in the oven, the piano was completely cleaned and the action pivots were changed, the keyboard gaskets and action were reamed and of course all strings and pins were changed.
As a result, this piano has found a warm place in a living room to be played for at least half a century.
