A Hastings piano to be restored

We had in our workshop a small English piano from the end of the 19th century: a Hastings.

For this piano, our job was to manufacture mechanical parts following the original model: bridges, hammer nuts and dampers; because of course, it is almost impossible to find spare parts in good condition for this type of piano.

We also reconstructed the rosette of the facade which was broken.

It was first necessary to find the missing parts, redraw them and vectorize the drawing. Then we made a laser cut of a piece of wood that was tinted matt black as originally.

This piano returned complete to its owners!
