Custom piano parts

Many parts were missing or defective on this very beautiful Ignace Pleyel pianoforte or square piano from 1834. In particular the wooden journals in which the original pegs no longer supported the tension of the strings and therefore the tuning.

These dowels are placed in the windchest of the square piano and serve to accommodate the pegs which stretch the strings.

Steps :

• Cutting of 86 dowels to the right size
• Drilling of each dowel
• Drilling of the bed base
• Installing the pins and pegs
